Yes, we have to be competitive locally, and we will do so by focusing on local content. The difference between us and the larger publishers and broadcasters is that out of necessity we provide access to local services to our communities. We rely on locally-oriented stories. Local management has relationships with various organizations in the community. Focusing on the local aspect in our communities will  allow us to remain competitive.

Much has been made about the importance of "localism," yet there's more syndication and nationalized personalities than ever before. Localism is more important than ever. We’re here to bring the HIP Champaign regional flavor. Bloomington, LeRoy, Paxton and Effingham, Illinois their on board already.
